The best if you want mass amount of people is Glen Eyre. It also very close to SUSU and the Gym . Glen houses a stupid amount of people so look at the individual halls that are en-suite and catered in glen. Second is Wessex lane, good amount of people but the area is a bit pants. Lastly is small halls in which I was based.

Had about 300 in one hall and 200 in another. Most students never knew the place but I did enjoy the fact that it 5 min walk from city centre and you got to know everyone who did live in the halls. However it is 15 min bus ride away from uni.

The link tells you about each halls but from looking it seems only Glen Eyre – South Hill has part time catered and is en-suite.

You may need to clone the mac address of your PC onto your xbox. Mac address is like a serial number, if the southampton networks sees that a different device (different serial number) is trying to connect from your room it might make you wait a very long time before updating to the new device. If you clone the mac address, your xbox will just look the same as your PC and it will work straight away.

You basically need to set the "alternate mac address" on the "advanced settings" page of the network settings on the 360.
