It's great - London is an excellent academic centre, and has lots of good universities that are world renowned.Look up the list of universities in London - check out their respective individual websites to see if the course modules in media are in line with what you are looking for.
It also pays to check with friends who are currently studying in that particular university you are keen to join, and also do a trip down to the school to seek out more information and check out the school premises for yourself before you decide to enroll.

I know you have beaches close by in Europe but I suggest Florida. I am an American that visits London regularly. You could take advantage of the weak dollar versus the pound. Basically, everything would be half price with the exchange rate. 1 pound roughly equals $2. Orlando/Daytona Beach is cheaper and quite a bit safer than Miami - and the weather should be great.
