Phillip Said:

what to expect after applying for Student Finance via UCAS?

We Answered:

You have to apply for student loans via the Student Loans Company.

UCAS is the University Central Application System - it only deals with applications.

But Student Loans do take a notoriously long time!

Does anyone know if I have to send off my mam and dads original P60 when applying for student finance?

If it is the EMA then it will be the tax credit award notice that they will request .

Mildred Said:

Applying for Student Finance, what happens if I don't get into University?

We Answered:

Loans are tricky and expensive, and take several years to repay. Don't do them if you don't think you can get a job right out of college, ie medical, accounting, and law.

Henry Said:

Applying for Student Finance - Where and How?

We Answered:

If you go into your local University or College, they will probably have the forms there in their Student Support Office. If not, they will be able to get one sent to you. Or you can download the forms from the website: http://www.studentsupportdirect.co.uk/portal/page?_pageid=1647,467417&_dad=portal&_schema=PROTOCOL
Or go to you LEA (Local Education Authority) at your local council.
