Generally the institutes have tie up with companies for internships, hence, check with the institute whether they have any internship / summer training tie ups with companies.

Its important to have internships or summer training etc., because it gives an edge when you are looking for job. So, better join a institute that provides these facilities.

A Finance MBA can find work in corporate Finance. You should look for Financial Analyst, Business Analyst and so on.

You would really need an MS in Economics or Finance to work in a trading position. I have worked with too many MBAs in Finance who simply didn't have the math/stats down enough to pick stocks or handle portfolio management.

My suggestion would be you go for Finance rather than marketing.
See, Manav I am working as a Hr Executive, I can tell you one thing: recruiters prefer both MBA Marketing full time as well as correspondence candidates.
Wheras in case of Hr or Finance, candidates through corres are not preferred by corporates. Big corporates prefer only full time candidates.
So, you have an advantage in that case.
