It is definitely in the top of the tier below your Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial colleges.It is a very favourable University, and it does have quite a bit of respect. First off, it is an old institution, and has a great name for certain subjects, particularly engineering. I am not aware of its standing in the economic subjects, but it is a fair bet that an MSc at Bristol will look great to employers.
