ABH SEC 47 is an either way offence, which carries a maximum penalty on indictment of five years imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine not exceeding the statutory maximum that's the law sorted, as your 20 in full time Ed and of previous good character if you intend to plead guilty straight of then that will count in your favour, if your contesting the charge then obviously there will be a trail and as you will appreciate the other party are gonna put it all down to you that's the way the game works it will then left up to the jury to sort it out. Should you be found guilty i don´t believe you will get a custodial sentence more like a supervision order or a combination order which is supervision combined with so many hours doing some sort of community service at the week end. Being slagged of about your acne is not an excuse to get into a fight although i appreciate it effects those who have it. Your barrister will no doubt raise it in court as having been possible provocation. Beteewn now and your case comming up i suggest you throw your self into your studies and avoid any other trouble.
