Sudent Loan and Finance UK ?We Answered:
You need 3 years residency in the UK before the start of your course to apply for a UK Student Loan etc. You would perhaps be able to apply to the EU to have your fees paid.Dora Said:
US citizen apllying for UK student loan?We Answered:
According to your current situation, it is highly unlikely to be able to apply for state funds or loans. However, there may be some hope in contacting banks like HSBC, Natwest etc... because they have certain professional development loans that are available to overseas students.Another option may be to contact UKCOSA -
Website: http://www.ukcosa.org.uk/
Tel: 20 7107 9922 (Mon - Fri, 1pm to 4PM)
They would be the best people to steer you in the right direction. As far as eligibility and other options.
Another option may be to find out if the universities you are considering offer bursaries directed to certain nationalities or professional areas.
I hope that helps.

where are the finance employers ready to listen to candidates without work permit? We Answered:
You aren't going to find them. Just as most employers in your own country wouldn't want to talk to a candidate who doesn't have a work permit, most employers in the EU aren't interested in talking to those without a work permit. Most employers do not want to have to deal with the paperwork and administrative hassles of getting a work permit for someone -- they would much rather simply hire someone who already has his or her paperwork in order. Also, they would often rather hire someone locally than hire a foreigner and then be accused of taking jobs away from local people.Katrina Said:
If I am a student in the US, how do I get funding to study in the UK?We Answered:
Hi Alpha,I have provided you with two links that may help you answer this question. All of your answer will depending on what the university determines as your fee status.

Am I Eligible for study funding from another EU Country-The Netherlands? We Answered:
The easiest site to look at is the IB-Groep which arranges all the "studiefinancering"It is not as simple as a yes/no as it depends on your situation
There is a whole section on English which explains everything including the right to a student grant here http://www.ibgroep.nl/International_visi… and the rights of being an EU/EEA national here http://www.ibgroep.nl/International_visi…
Then if it is still not clear then you can contact them directly http://www.ibgroep.nl/International_visi…
Good luck

Question regarding financing studying in Non-EU countries: how will it be financed and do you have experience? We Answered:
What do you mean will it be financed? It's NOT. You've got to pay for yourself I'm afraid. To study at uni in the UK it's about £3,500 and everybody's entitled to some aid no matter how much they earn. For somewhere like the US, fees for UK students can be over £25,000 - with no aid at all.
