There is no housing near Wyotech.

It is located in an industrial area of West Sacramento.

The housing options they have provided you are most likely located in the South Natomas area.

I live in one such complex that caters to both Wyotech, and UTI students. Most of them room together and end up carpooling to school.

If you want to send me an e-mail to me through my profile I will give you a more specific response as to which complexes are better.

I did a search on the local bus routes to see if anything runs that way and could find nothing.

The problem with Wyotech is that it sits across the river from Sacramento. While there are ways on a bike to get there the bestway is a car. Welcome to California.

We Answered:

Firstly, Santa Barbara does not have crime filled neighborhoods.
Secondly, there is not much that is affordable in SB.
But, if you are going to SBCC, you won't be spending much on tuition so it evens out.
Contact SBCC housing dept. There are some apartments across the street from SBCC. They are more reasonable than most.
Isla Vista is less expensive than most but then again you will be in IV. It's a long way from campus and it's a major party area. You could save quite a bit in gas by walking to school.
