I am a police officer and I will give you the answer bluntly to prove the point. You know they do it and I know they do it, but i takes an act of congress to get into a house to search it and to just up and arrest people. It is not fair, but eveyone has thier constintutioal rights regaurdless of who they are.

PROVE to me that you know for 100% that there are drugs in the house. PROVE means you have seen them. You have been there. You have possesed them. You have PERSONAL knowledge of the acts being committed.

Police just can't go and and find drug people and arrest them.
Police have to have probable cause to search ( personal knowledge from themselves ).
Police just can't go out and get a search warrant. You have someone with FRESH personal knowledge meaning: PROVE to me that you know for 100% that there are drugs in the house. PROVE means you have seen them. You have been there. You have possesed them. You have PERSONAL knowledge of the acts being committed. Plus this informant has to have enough information and be crediable enough to get teh warrant. It is not easy. Everyone has rights, even drug dealers.

As for the police going in there for other things.......they must of been doing other stuff and did not see any violations in progress.

You know and I know the drug people are doing it........but PROVE it.

YES they are apart of the family too. If you don't want your dog to share your couch, bed or your life, DON'T get a dog :) Love them, and they love you back!
