Houses In Waterloo
Julian Said:
where in southwest London can i find a 3 bed Victorian/Edwardian house for under £350k with links to Waterloo? We Answered:
You can't. Unless it's falling to pieces. You may be able to get a flat, but you won't get a house. I bought my 3 bed Victorian house in Battersea 10 years ago for £193,000 and it's now worth £450,000. Prices have gone doolally - mine is not even in a particularly good area, but it is close to Clapham Junction and that is what counts.I do wish you the best of luck, but you would need to be looking a lot further towards the edge of town to buy a house, and your desire for Waterloo links is the one thing that will guarantee a price above £350,00. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
And the places you're looking at are too suburban - you need to look at seedier options... when I bought my place, the area was a pit. Not anymore - it was worth it!

About Waterloo, Ontario?We Answered:
Kitchener-Waterloo is a cosmopolitan community in the center of southwestern Ontario, within proximity to Toronto, Hamilton, and the US border. You can definitely find affordable house that offers you easy access to recreational opportunities such as the scenic Walter Bean Grand River Trail or camping along the historic Grand River. Be sure to visit the unique Children’s Museum which promotes creativity and the region’s largest and oldest public art gallery, the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. For 130 years, residents of Kitchener-Waterloo have enjoyed visiting Your Kitchener Market. Vendors provide fresh flowers, dairy products, fish, meat, fruits, vegetables and cheese every week. Kitchener living offers you the chance to attend the Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener and Area, Blues, Brews & Barbeques Festival, Multicultural Festival and the Open Ears Festival.Coming from Saskatchewan, you're sure to expect less friendly people (since it is Ontario) but overall, Kitchener-Waterloo is a great place to live. I've been there many times.
