It seems pretty straightforward - they want upfront two months rent, pllus the deposit . So whatever the rent is per month, multiply by two then add the amount of the deposit. If you have that amount, i don't know if it will matter it you are currently employed, but the landlord will probably want some assurance that you will in fact be able to pay rent if you are not currently working. You might have to get jobs/income first, before you do any serious apartment hunting.
