I think you are going to have to look at Greater London (places that are at the end of the tube lines) if you want a place with three bedrooms for that price. There is no such thing as a place with a "very low" crime rate in London. I mean, a lot of areas are fine during the day, but London as a whole will have a higher crime rate than the rest of the UK. To be honest, lots of young women (me included) manage to live here without being victims of crime. I agree that you need to avoid the really bad areas, but you won't find anywhere with hardly any crime. Plus low-crime areas tend to be the most expensive areas.

If I were you I would get a tube map out and have a look at the areas that would be good for you. Then go to www.rightmove.co.uk where you can search via tube station.
