However, you didn't mention whether you really need the money. Will you struggle without the extra money? If not, I would keep working at the bar/tavern. It doesn't matter if you don't have any friends there. What matters is that you enjoy what you do, plus it's fast paced enough to keep you from getting bored all the time. Besides, as you will learn later in life, work isn't about friendships. I do realize that one needs to work in an friendly environment in order to flourish, but still, you never said that they are being hostile at you at the other job, so I guess that everything is in place.

Well, yeah, doing something and making money is better than nothing, but it can add to the stress and load of college work and disrupt your life. I think relatively easy or non-thinking jobs are the best for college students, like filing or office work.

I've always heard that for every credit hour of class you're supposed to do an hour of studying (or at least have it slotted in). So right now I'm taking 15 hours (which is a normal load) so that's 30 hours a week total. I don't have a job because I have a full ride scholarship. The most I've ever taken was 18 hours, which would equal 36 hours a week of study.

everybody starts somewhere. You mgiht want to consider volunteering at a local charity, youth group or senior center to gain some experience you can use when they ask you that.
