Honestly there's no specific answer as to which one job would be the best... It all depends on where you live, how many hours your going to work and things like that.
I'm guessing since it's your first job that it won't be full time... So I would suggest applying at places such as Starbucks, Jamba Juice... Basically places where other younger people work at as well.
There's always jobs at the mall that might suit your situation too. And the mall is a pretty safe place to work because there's constantly a flow of people.

Unfortunately, food service may be your best bet. If I understood your question correctly, you are a full time student. Which means you need to work in the evenings and on weekends, right? well, food service may not be the most glamorous job, but they usually have very flexible schedules and shifts beginning just at the right time. I worked in food until two weeks after my last semester at school, and while not my favorite job, I was able to go to school full time and work almost full time (32-34hrs/wk). And if you have the drive, many food places will hire you as management within a short time. Just put on your application that you are interested in a mgr. position.

Studies show that the less a person is paid, the harder they work (and vice versa -- this explains BP). The more people you pay to work for the bare minimum they're willing to continue employment for, the better your cheap labor will be.

This is why so many Americans get stuck making slave wages for years, then finally move up the ladder and make next to slave wages forty hours a week.

They teach you this stuff in business school. It's why Republican politicians still exist.
