What is the best kind of job for a 17 year-old-student?We Answered:
Target and best buy are good choices.Try food stores. Like Shoprite or Pathmark.
Or if your a peoples person...you can get a job at like Pizza hut or something.
I would recommend if there is a little small corner store around your town, trying going there and talking to the owner to see if they need some extra help. You will get paid 'under the table' (meaning they pay you up front, so no taxes). And, you usually dont ahve to do a lot of work..besides like packing some stuff up, etc. And they usually let you have time off you need it.
Good luck with your job hunting...and i hope i was able to answer your question.

Where can a 17 year old college student with a variety of job experiences look for a decent paying job?We Answered:
I think the problem is you're seventeen, and they're limited by labour laws as to how many hours they can actually give you. Probably finding two jobs will be best right now till you turn 18.Warren Said:

Jobs for 17 year old?We Answered:
There are quite a few places that will hire 17 year olds! :DYou'll probably have the best luck getting into a fast food place (I know you said you didn't want to make food, but if you really need the job, you'll take it! lol! It's not as bad as people say). You'll also have good luck applying at grocery stores, clothing stores, shoe stores, etc. These places are usually pretty good about giving you hours that will work around your school schedule.
When you go to apply, make sure you look presentable... wear nice dressy jeans and a button-up shirt or something like that.
Ask an associate politely if the store/restaurant is taking applications. They will grab an application for you to fill out. You can either fill it out in the store, or take it and fill it out at home. You'll need to have all sorts of information with you such as your driver's license, social security number, and the phone numbers of references (references are people you know that the manager can get in contact with. Sometimes they'll call references to ask questions about your personality and work ethic). There is usually a section on the app where you fill in your availability - or days and hours that you'll be able to work.
When your app is all filled out, hand it to an associate or manager.
They will usually take a few days to read it, and will call you if they want to set up an interview.
If they don't call within five days, be sure to call them and ask if a manager has seen your app yet.
This usually lets the company know that you're really interested and persistent, which is a good quality to have. :)
Most people apply at several places before they finally get hired by someone, but don't worry. If you're polite, friendly, and make an honest effort, you'll have a job in no time. Good luck out there! <3
