I have seen companies that count years of service as the primary factor in deciding who to promote. I have seen others where a young person right out of college who has good mastery of analytical software become far more efficient and therefore, more likely to be promoted despite their young age. At this company, who would be more likely to be promoted?

In these three examples, the quick answer you give is irrelevant, because everyone knows what you're "supposed" to say. The real answer will come in the quality and depth of examples you give, and how passionately you convey the answers. The candidates will be able to smell if you are making up answers just to get them to sign on.

Because as a student you probably don't have much experience in any particular field AND you don't have a degree yet, you're probably not going to be able to find a high paying job and if you do, it's going to need more commitment that you can give it, given your class schedule.

Your best bet is to go with a job where you can make big tips like higher end restaurants and bars and do a great job to give customers incentive to tip well.

I have been a mystery shopper for eight years. I am doing it full-time, and paid per assignment. So if you think it’s glamorous to be a shopper, please think twice..it’s intellectually-draining and physically-exhausting to say the least..or maybe it’s just burn-out?

I have been working also with http://www.mystery-shopping-pros.com/ . Its a different experience, the work is online based . Who could have thought that you can do mystery shopping a your on home, in front of your PC. LOL. I get paid $20 an hour in this company.

Mystery shopping can either be the road to overworked and underpaid, or if you do it correctly, it can be quite lucrative for a legitimate, work-at-home, flexible job.
