Yes, there are ways for college students to make money. I am a college student too right now (about to start my senior year...scary!). I tried finding a regular job but couldn't fit it into my schedule, so I started researching online jobs.

You can do freelance writing or use blogs and Adsense to make a little extra cash. There are many free survey sites out there (like Opinion Outpost), but they don't pay that well either.

I finally discovered a site called Wealthy Affiliate. You can go to http://www.my-linker.com/hop/money and check it out for yourself if you want. Basically, they don't give you money, but they teach you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing. You can do it full time or part time, so do however much you want. Again, I am a college student and love this site.

However, this is not a "get rich fast" type place. You will need to read all the lessons to understand everything and work hard (although you can spread out the work to match your schedule) if you want to succeed. It took me about a month to start making money, but I really do recommend this site.

Also, as of tomorrow (July 7, 2008) they are adding a new feature to the site that will help newbies make their first money even faster.

There are many legitimate jobs online, so check out what sounds the best to you and good luck!
