A part-time job can last any amount of time. I know people who have worked at the same place since starting highschool. And as for pay your usually looking at around minimum wage but the longer you stay the more money your bound to get.

hi Beth, as an internship many places would accept you for work, banks, Dr's offices etc. but of course none would want to pay you. One place that pays well, and they always need help are Car Dealerships.
