I don't know of any that provide transportation. Your best bet will be within walking or biking distance from your home or maybe one of your parents workplaces. Good luck

What is the best bank for high school students with a part time job?

We Answered:

I believe also that a credit union may be your best deal. You want to pay as little as possible in fees. Many banks and credit unions offer no fee accounts to students. Check them out in your area for a good match. Consider availability of ATMs, online banking, hours of operation of the actual financial institution in reaching your decision.

What are some good college-prep part time jobs for a high school student?

We Answered:

As a 16-year old, you're not going to be making "extra income big time" unless you're very good at sales and you work a commission-based job. But these types of jobs may not have the college-appeal you're looking for.

Colleges like community-oriented people, so look for a position with a charity, but more than just working at your local Goodwill. See if there's a Meals-on-Wheels in your area where you can help, or check out local retirement homes and see if they need any volunteer help.
And there's the problem with charity-oriented positions. You might be scoring big time karma points with your future college, but you won't be making a lot of cash.

The third option is to get career-relative experience, but that can be pretty tough for a 16-year old, then again, where there's a will there's a way. If, for example, you're interested in Law, and you've got the report card to back yourself up, contact some local Law Firms, ask if they do Pro Bono work, and ask if they'd like someone to help them out. You may find you're doing nothing more than carrying around files, making copies, getting coffee, etc, (essentially an Intern) but at least you can put that down on your Resume (the experience, not that you made the coffee runs ;)

Good luck!
