How to look and apply for Christmas Jobs for a 17 year old?We Answered:
Go to all the high street shops in your local area/town and ask if they're hiring for Xmas. Some will ask you to hand in your CV (so take a few copies along with you), others require you to apply online. Thus go on the website of some stores you'd like to work and check out their application procedure.Patsy Said:
Any good business ideas for a college student who needs money for the Christmas season but no time for a job?We Answered:
When I was in college.. I worked up in the mountains at the ski resorts during Winter break.. we had about 5 weeks off. It was fun and I made a bunch of spending money for the Spring semester. Best Wishes!Virgil Said:

How can I get help for my kids this Christmas when i have no job just a full time student ?We Answered:
Jeez, sorry about your mom and to bad about your husband not being a man when the time's became tough. right now Christmas is not the problem. but if you need toys and clothes for the children the salvation Army and other Churches can help you out.or other family member. hopefully you stay with your dad. well there are organizations that help out. It would help if I know where you live. Oprah Winfrey have some contest out about the ideaof doing something meaningful to help someone else without asking for anything in return. if you were given $1,000 with the understanding that it had to be used to help a stranger or others, how would you use the money and why? let me say you would be my stranger and my reason why.
Best wishes to u and you Children.

How much do you think a student should spend on Christmas presents for family? We Answered:
I don't know what your budget it so I couldn't say! But a thing I did last year when I had a limited budget was to make my own presents and cards so I didn't have to spend so much. I made a collage of photos for my best friend which only cost a few pounds for the frame, for example. Things like this can mean more than shop bought things because they are more personal I think. Hope this helps :)Glen Said:
when do seasonal jobs like at christmas time begin? We Answered:
Some retailers DO hire earlier...October. Halloween stores, toy stores etc. Many are getting their freight "build up" in October and need more bodies to help stock and unload freight. You may not get 40 hours at all (sorry) as most retailers will hire more bodies and give a few hours to each. As the season approaches and people drop out or have attendance issues, you may get more if you are flexible and answer for emergency call ins.As you apply, make sure you speak to a MANAGER and ask those questions. Start with larger department stores and "seasonal" stores and be persistent, stopping in each time you are in the area. They will remember you when they start their interviewing if you smile and are eager!
