Well I just asked my husband as he's a prof with over 30 years of university experience behind him. He said that you wouldn't get in a top uni if you are just scraping through on grades, but somewhere would take you.

Most of these aren't top unis for psychology. York is high up and may be ambitious, how about York St John instead? That would be more likely to take you. Similarly Leeds Met might be more likely than Leeds itself. Manchester looks to be lower than Manchester Met though and might be possible. You'll only know by trying.

With a weak academic background, you will have to really convince them that you are going to work very hard and come up with the results.
