the profession of being a lawyer is misleading. most only think of the lawyer they need when they are charged with a crime and need help in court. BUT there are many other lawyers out there. immigration lawyers, corporate, real estate, criminal, and probably some more.

although the schools will teach more about the laws of the country where the school is located, this could help with international law, or corporate law. the law in itself, while at school, is NOT the most important part. it is how you find, research, and present your findings to the professor using the law as was written to argue your case, whether criminal or corporate. think of those that have studied in one country only to work in another. it will be difficult but with a good assistant, you could work wonders.

so go to school in calgary so you don't lose time. worry about employment after you get out of classes.

good luck! these days - this is very hard! a lot of companies are just looking to steel your money by promising you a job/futur as a model! best bet would be contacting a local modelling agency in your city and asking their advice. they are usually more honest than those company's the do alot of advertising and go to hotels to find "models".
