This is their website, they run 5 camps. Four overnight camps and one day camp in San Jose. Each camp has a different number of working days per summer so find the camp that fits your schedule or interests the most. Skylark Ranch usually runs all summer if you are looking for an all summer job. The rest of the camps are about half of the summer so you can do that if you are also planning on taking summer semester classes.

Camp is over for this summer but you can always work there next year.

You could travel on your own for less than $1000 if you aren't too picky about where you go - many airlines have cheap flight deals to Europe, and you can travel around and stay in hostels. I've done that many times on my own. But yeah, it is more fun with friends.

Another option is a summer program like the one at St. Paul's School in NH - they hire college students and those recently graduated to help teach high school classes over the summer.
