If you are in the UK you need to go to your local council and they will give you student loan application forms and help you fill them in because they are pretty complicated.They will then send a confirmation letter to say if your application was successful and the amounts you are entitled to and then you'll get a payment schedule to say when you'll get your money.

You could try phoning the company you worked for at that time. They won't be able to give you another P60 but they will have their copy and could give you the details off it - if they were obliging enough.

As long as you are not enrolled, the loan will not disburse. So you will not be required to pay it back. The loan will not disburse either if you are not a student, and sounds like you are not because you withdrew your app. I would just call the loan place...was it an alternative loan?? If so, then yeah just call them and try cancelling it that way. If it was a Direct student loan.. aka subsidized or unsub... then you can cancel that loan right through your school without even talking to the loan agencies! Don't worry. You don't even have an account for the money to disburse into and most loans are deposited into your account rather then right to the students hands!
