We Answered:

You can't get a private student loan without a cosigner with good credit. I would suggest you have your mom apply for a federal parent PLUS loan through your school. Then when she is denied, you will be offered this loan in YOUR name. You won't have to pass a credit check to get it and this is in addition to your current Stafford loans.
