My first card was actually an American Express Charge card, you have to pay it off each month, but it's a great way to build credit. Just go to the AMEX website and apply for the green card, it does have an annual fee (not much) but because of that almost everyone is approved.

Depends
The new law that went into effect last February makes it a bit tougher for those under 21 to get credit. You either have to prove income or have a parent cosign.

Actually no limits except that you must be a full-time student and be over 18 years old.
As for the credit score, students credit cards may be given to those who have no credit at all.
