Nursing Student Loans
Ana Said:
Nursing contact means hospital to repay student loans? We Answered:
It probably depends on the hospital and their signing bonuses. Maybe there are hospitals offering this as a part of a package incentive, but I've never worked for one. But, many of them offer some sort of sign-on bonus, which you could put toward your loans. You'll just have to find out when you accept a job.Eduardo Said:
where can I get a student loan for nursing school? We Answered:
Try your school first, they should have finaid information. Then grants and scholarship websites.About loans in bulk, do the math. Higher interest rate, versus interest rates for money sitting in the bank.
Before getting the loan, make sure to ask the following:
Early payment penalties, (if you pay early, do they charge you more?)
Disbursement fees, (or any other charge for lending you the money)
Interest rates increases, (fixed rate? for how long? variable rate? what is the reference?

Best of luck

Are there any student loans for nursing you don't have to pay back?We Answered:
In the spectrum of educational funding, scholarships and grants are the "free money." These awards do not need to be repaid. In general, scholarships are given based on merit and grants are given based on financial need. They may be awarded based on need, or excellence in academics or other areas, or on a combination of both. The aid may be given by the federal or state government. Many scholarships awarded to University students have separate processes, deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application forms. The resource links provided here will introduce you to a wide spectrum of possibilities available from the University and numerous other philanthropic agencies, organizations, and individuals.
Now the question is that how college funding works, the types of scholarships available, how to find them and how to apply for them. That’s pretty standard issue for a website about scholarships, although we think if you’ll pardon us saying so, that we’ve done an excellent and job of being comprehensive and readable. Here’s what’s different.
Scholarships are the ideal form of student aid, as they're basically gifts that never have to be repaid. On the other hand, student loans must be repaid, but they're made at very low interest rates, and you're usually you're not required to begin repayment until six months after you graduate. Some student loans require you to prove financial need, but some of them don't. Many students turn to student loans as a method to pay for college. Basically, if you cannot get access to the free money you have to borrow it in the form of a student loan.

Are Student Loans for Nursing degree worth it in the end?We Answered:
Nursing is one career that will never go out of style and we'll always need nurses, they say that the doctor is the important one but it's the nurse that does all the work for the doctor and sees to the patients care and recuperation from surgery, and nurses get a pretty hefty paycheck so you'll be able to pay back your loans and have a great career now and for the future, go for it, and good luck, and don't forget that your dealing with human beings that are suffering and they need your loving care and help, it's a gratifying career.Jon Said:
nursing school waitlist and student loans? We Answered:
if you have previous student loans, you only get a 6 month grace period, after you have graduated. this is assuming you have a loan from the federal gov. so after 6 months you must begin to pay it back. you only get a deferral on that loan if you are in fact registered and currently going to school. so being on the waitlist, you will still have to pay old loans.now if you mean you took out loans to go to nursing school and the check was sent directly to the school, then no you will not have to pay it back, because you are not registered in the school yet, so therefore they have not used any of it yet. but if you received the check yourself instead of it going to the school, then yes you will definitely have to adhere to the loan policy and pay it back whenever they decided it would be due.
