Yeah, its very easy. Assuming you have loans that are going towards your tuition payment, any excess is yours to keep. That excess can be requested to be sent to you in the form of a check, and viola! A semester's worth of rent is taken care of.

Plus, you can rest even easier because you're a senior. The amount you're allowed to borrow goes up as you advance in college. This is especially true if you're borrowing from Uncle Sam. He gives much more generously as you're close to finishing your degree.

I speak from experience. I had my loans cover my off campus rent in my senior year so I could focus on completing my degree! You shouldn't have a problem with what you're trying to do. But talk to your financial aid office asap so you can take care of this before it gets to be a problem. Good luck!
