If you are searching for educational loans from Banks in UK, it is very difficult, in fact low possibilities. I do agree that, financial aid from home country is better but Heaven knows. But, trial and error is a good effort. Keep your effort.

But, you might try to grab some education grants, scholarships and numerous others, do contact the university that you wish to attend. They got friendly frontline team. Plus, different universities offers different scheme. Try to do some research. If I'm not mistaken, University of Manchester got plenty of scholarships to be given.

Do contact the British Council for further information. These sites might lend you a hand and don't forget to check out universities official websites.

You should be able to get a student loan, i only took one out in the last year they said i had to sort things for the year before but when i rang them they were fine and i got my loan

I can't quite tell from your question whether you're moving from a first year on one course straight into the second year on another, or if you're starting your new course entirely new. Either way they won't have a problem with it, though if you are beginning an entirely new course you will still have to pay the full set of tuition fees on top of the year you have spent at your current university.

Lots of people transfer universities, for a number of reasons. As long as you keep the SLC informed of the details of your new course you should be fine. Call your local SLC center and explain to them the changes that you are making.
